It's a beautiful material, seems to be very clean and low maintenance, but I can't believe that it would make sense to use it in areas that get in winter very cold. I would love to see more article like this, but focused on colder places. Thanks Eric.

Hello! thank you for your interest!
The range hood is a semi-custom one. We put a new/ modified stainless chimney cover on pre-made, under cabinet hood, vent-a-hood NP9. Unfortunately, I don't have a record of the sink manufacturer.

Best of luck on your project.

The hood fan unit is Vent-a-Hood is a PRH18-236SS. We had Vent-a-Hood custom fabricate the "chimney". The sink is a Shaw.

Thank you very much for the information about the hood. What is the manufacturer of the range?

The hood (specifically, the fan unit) is a Vent-A-Hood PRH18-236SS, which is an under-cabinet model. We had Vent-a-Hood custom fabricate the "chimney" (the rectangular stack on top of the fan unit), to make the whole thing look like a wall-mount model. Celeste Lewis adds more good commentary in her March 16 and March 18 entries above.
