What began as a 3,860 sq ft home is now over 5,000 sq ft of thoughtfully designed, fully customized space—including a gym, sauna, guest/art studio, and a beautiful new scullery. But what truly sets this experience apart is how it was built. Every detail—every finish, fixture, and design choice—was exactly what we envisioned. And that’s thanks to this team’s unmatched dedication, respect, and craftsmanship. Art and Eric empowered me to design the home I truly wanted. There are also the bigger questions that people have like, how much does it cost, what about permits, etc. Those were my biggest questions when we started this. We passed inspection on all of our permits and we had no issues whatsoever. We had to remove two large trees to build the scullery and that process is fine. If you remove trees you simply plant new ones at the end of the project. We are planting two magnolias this week, super easy process. The other big questions people often have is where do I put my stuff? We used PODS and that worked amazing. Regarding budget: The pricing for everything is within your budget. My biggest recommendation is regarding your millwork package. It's great to pick that on time because that is important and takes time to get delivered. The other item that it's great to order is any kind of specialty doors. If you want a quick remodel select in stock items and you will have a fast project. The homeowners design choices really are what dictates that because Art and the team are fast and exceptional. There isn’t anything this team can’t do—and they do it all with integrity, intention, and talent. Thank you, Art, Eric, and every craftsman who touched this home. “We began working with Nathan on designing our dream retirement home on the Oregon Coast in mid-2014. Of course we had ideas of what type of home we wanted but knew that they were not really a fit for the lot that we owned. Nathan listened to our ideas and gently and skillfully steered us towards a design that tastefully incorporated them (or the concept behind them) while also honoring the lot, the view and the environment. We were living out-of-state at the time but Nathan and his team made the long distance process work efficiently. On-line design reviews greatly helped convey detailed information in both directions and facilitated quick resolution of any issues as they arose. We only used Nathan and his team for the initial and detailed design phases, and drafting of detailed construction/permit plans. However, they worked well with our builder of choice on issues and design modification suggestions to make sure our vision would be successfully executed. Nathan was as absolute delight to work with and his team was knowledgeable and professional in all regards.”
