Coastal Landscape Design, LLC

This company did not complete our driveway project nor did they return materials that belong to us..pavers. They started the project in March and still have not repaired damages to our irrigation system not completed their work. I would NOT recommend this company. Connie Hauser Kiawah island I would like to correct and note that they did finish our project after this was posted. I would like to retract this statement. I own a small business and know how important comments make and I retract earlier statement.

I like to use local business as much as possable , living on Johns Island i thought i would use Coastal Landscape Design that is on Johns Island. This has been going on for over 2 months now. I called to see if they could come out replace some sprinker heads and redirect some other heads. I know and was told that a guy came out and said that i needed 6 new sprinkler heads replaced. No Problem . I have left messages , talked to a nice lady ,( that said she will put a message on Pete's chair/desk that i called and wanted to know when they will take care of my job NO RETURN CALLS ) even talked to Pete that said that knows about the job and has been waiting for the young lady to pick a date for the work to be done. Not the story that i was told from the lady. I am in and out of town , so i asked if i need to be home and she said no , that they can do the work and they can bill me. This whole time i have been doing all the calls, have not received a call back yet. Letting people know

My husband and I interviewed several landscape companies to start from scratch with our property. From the very beginning, I was impressed with Coastal Landscape Design. The phone was immediately answered and a very friendly associate scheduled a consult for a time that worked for us. After the consult, we were presented with a detailed quote and drawings of the designer's (Kevin Shealy) vision for our property. Our project included removal of EVERYTHING from the property - trees, shrubs, grass, vines, and concrete. They created a low maintenance yard for us complete with new walkways, gorgeous landscape, and an irrigation system. The whole team was knowledgeable and helped us salvage plants we didn't even know we had! The whole process was smooth, despite several unforeseen setbacks; the most noteworthy being a significant budget change on our part due to damage caused by a historical flood.

I hired Coastal Landscape to completely redesign the landscaping in front of our house and add some needed vegetation to some areas in the back. Pete and Kevin worked as a team to offer a design template to which we made some changes and agreed on a compliment of low growing plants and shrubs to provide a lowcountry look. They also installed an irrigation system which is a requirement for them to guarantee the plants. Overall, I have been impressed with their professionalism and willingness to provide assistance to any situation that arises. They also provide a monthly maintenance service for the property and they always do a good job. I am quite pleased with the services provided by Coastal Landscape and would recommend them to anyone looking to improve the look of their property.

The company did a total re-landscaping job for us. This included taking down 5 trees, tearing out and replacing sod, doing a great deal of hardscape, planting trees, flowers and bushes.

CLD worked with us to design a perfect custom patio/firepit for our property by providing several options of products and design so we could choose the ideal layout that provided a cost effective integrated landscape solution They utilized quality products and a friendly professional staff of skilled workers that communicated project status every step of the way. We are proud of the comments we recieve from visitors and really enjoy outside entertaining on it. I have and will continue to highly recommend them.

Coastal Landscape & Design redesigned my yard from planning to completion, including an underground watering system, that was timely and within budget. They were/are knowledgeable, efficient, responsive and courteous. I've never had an issue - they currently do maintenance.

A couple of years ago Coastal Landscape Design installed a paver patio, sitting wall, stone fireplace, and landscaping for us. It is very impressive!

We had our backyard improved. Pete and Kevin and their crew did an excellent job. They built a sitting wall around our swimming pool and a pergola for shade. They also removed the old sod, installed a french drain to help with a major drainage problem and brought in top soil to improve the planting of new sod. They also built us a raised planting bed and installed a planting bed, patio and walkways to both gates. The work was done quickly and extremely well. The materials and workmanship were wonderful. They worked with us to keep within the estimate we had agreed on and we liked them so much, we hired them to do lawn maintenance for us.

They were in the middle range of quotes I got for redoing some of my backyard, but the real reason I hired them was their enthusiasm for my ideas, enhancing what I wanted, and being fully attentive to my wishes. Kevin Shealy brought ideas to me that were exactly right, even when it was different from what I THOUGHT I wanted. He was easy-going and always quick to respond to my emails, phone calls, etc. The entire crew was very nice and friendly and easy to work with. They essentially did just hardscaping for me, but they did exactly what I asked for in the replanting and moving of existing plants. The finished project exceeded my expectations! I plan to use them again!!
