Hello, I'm Bernie, the owner of Hollywood Home Improvements. I'm a Licensed General Contractor and Plumber and have been doing residential Los Angeles area and Hollywood area remodeling, small commercial remodeling, general repairs and even handyman services since 1995. In serving the Greater LA Area these past 17 years, I have expanded my company from a one-man operation to having several talented installers and handymen now at your service (as I've found I just can't do ALL the work myself :-) My basic philosophy when dealing with you, the customer, is that I care for your home (or property) as if it were my own. I like to deliver what I call the "WOW Factor", which means I strive on each separate job to first understand what it is that you want and help deliver that to you exactly, operating within a carefully planned schedule and budget to meet your needs and yet hopefully even exceed your expectations. To accomplish this with all my customers I work to maintain an open communication channel so that any questions, concerns, or changing needs can be addressed rapidly. As far as specific services go, my crew and I are experienced in all types of Los Angeles area and Hollywood area bathroom remodeling, carpentry and wood repair, can do room remodels, additions, custom kitchens, garage remodels, doors and windows, decks, great rooms, painting, electrical, seismic retro-fitting, you name it! I like to say: "we can do it all, from the bottom to the top". With our in-house design specialist who has an architectural background, we can take your ideas and create the designs and plans, get the engineering worked out, the permits pulled, and your dreams realized (at least as far as your property is concerned). Our customers are not just homeowners, however, as we work quite extensively with property managers, landlords, commercial property owners, real estate agents and brokers where we consistently deliver excellent results on their properties (or their clients' properties) as well.
