I'll give Knight stars for the design of my home and that they passed structional inspections. Beyond that, my experience has been a nightmare with false promises, terrible communication, and sub-par work. Just a few of the many examples are: 1. Lies upon lies. I was told floor stain would be completed within the day and that the oven was en-route for delivery the next day. Both were not completed for two weeks after that. Also, when my AC went out on a very hot summer Saturday I called Knight and was told the service provider had no weekend appointments. I called the service provider myself just to find out they could come that day, it was just an $80 charge to Knight. 2. Delays were not communicated, ever. I had to reach out for any information and it was often a struggle with responses that didn't make sense or add up. 3. I was encouraged to close when power was not on. It took over a month from their estimated close date to get power. 4. It's 9 months post closing and I am still waiting for my address plaque and screen doors, both which were promised 30 days from closing. 5. Shoddy craftsmanship and rushed finishes. When installing the oven hood (post close I would add) they left a dent in the wall with bumpy spackling, there were multiple chips in the counter tops, the outdoor entry landing was not extended to code initially, and my second closing was delayed due to the HVAC closet not being to code as well.
