Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C.

Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. is a full service architecture and design firm located in Brooklyn.

We believe that architecture is by nature a collaborative process, bringing the client’s needs and desires together with the architect’s vision and knowledge and the builder’s experience and craftsmanship to realize something new and wonderful.

We specialize in townhouse additions, renovations and restorations, but also enjoy working on lofts and apartments. Aside from our residential work, we have designed everything from offices and training facilities to furniture and light fixtures.

We thrive on the challenge of problem solving through design.

Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. We looked at several custom samples with the cabinetmaker so I don't really have a specific color name for you. However in paint colors, Benjamin Moore's OC-140 "Morning Dew" is very close. Goo luck with your project.

suzannekcole Thank you so much for the information, I hope my project looks half as nice as this beautiful kitchen. Hopefully for my next project I'll be able to hire your firm to do it for me.

Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. It is hard to tell from a photo. The cabinets are actually a grayish beige that we thought worked will with both the quartzite and the walnut frame.

Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. he steel for this stair was actually shop primed, and then field painted by the painter when he did the rest of the trim work. The color is Benjamin Moore "glacier" OC-37.

Chantale Daudelin Hello, this is stunning. Could you please tell us more about the project? Were the door & moldings already there?
Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. Thank you!. Yes the door on the left and the mouldings are all original. We installed a paneled fridge to replace the balance lost when a 2nd door that had to be removed to accommodate the kitchen. The cabinetry wood was selected and stained to blend with the mouldings. These sort of existing details are one of the things that we love most about working in old houses.

Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. Thanks for your question. The sinks and counter are a nickel plated copper antique unit. They were salvaged from the client's previous home and re-used here as a wet bar. The cabinetry was custom designed by us, and the client selected a lovely onyx slab for use as the backsplash. The faucets are available from Waterworks. They are the Etoile gooseneck faucets with cross handles. http://www.waterworks.com/collections/waterworks/etoile/266

Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. This row house is actually a wide one by typical Brooklyn standards. The interior width is about 22'. However, we have manage to fit kitchens with islands and adjacent dining tables into houses as narrow at 17' inside. This house was actually wide enough that we were also able to incorporate a beautiful wall of storage beyond the table.

tconsi ok thanks. good to know. mine is 17 interior (18 exterior) and keep wondering if need to choose b/w an island and a table.
Neuhaus Design Architecture, P.C. Depending on the width of the island and the width of the desired table you should be able to make it work, unless you also have a hearth and fireplace at that location to contend with . . .
