Michael Abrams Limited Thank you so much. If you want a warmer / creamy white then go with Linen White. Mayonniase is bright, crisp and clean. Either one is good with Shaker Beige. I use a flat finish on the ceilings and a semi-gloss on all the trim. The sheen is what stands out but it is subtle.

Michael Abrams Limited Thanks for the kind words - I think you can mimic the palette and lines but white painted trim & stained oak are very different. If you have not selected a stain I would tell you to avoid the light and yellow options. I would suggest a Jacobean stain. Good luck.

Michael Abrams Limited First, I wish you happiness in your upcoming marriage. I would suggest a darker wood floor finish, it will pop against the white trim and use a lighter color rug to make both the floors and the furniture look great. Best of luck and I'd love to see a pic of both the new home and the bride and groom.

buywhatulove Wow! Thanks a million for your quick response! Considering that I have been pondering this and googling everything on the subject for the last two weeks, your input is extremely helpful. Ok, here's another quick question. We are going to use Starphire glass for the shower and a matching toilet room that is opposite the shower. (I like symmetry!) The toilet room, however, is going to be more opaque. One supplier is suggesting Satin Etched Starphire for the toliet door and panel. Another is suggesting a sandblasted glass with a protective coating. I am leaning towards the Satin Etched because I think it will hold up better. Do you agree? Also, do you think it is necessary to do one of the protective cleaning coatings, like Showerguard, over the clear Starphire for the shower and over the Satin Etched Starphire for the toilet area? Thanks Michael!

custom-tiles.com Helpful hint on tile/grout joint effect on tile installations - your 12x12 tile is probably NOT really 12x12, so if you want to figure accurately enough to size the installation including grout width: know that 'nominal' size (e.g., 12x12) is not the ACTUAL size. Ask or check written specifications for the actual size, try to find out what the average variance of tile size from this figure is. Tumbled tile typically varies the most due to the rounding and chipping at the edges. Tiles with larger variances from the 'average size' require a wider grout line to aid the installer in making adjustments to align the tiles.

Michael Abrams Limited The floor stain was a custom one done on site for the client, it is a combination of Jacobean and Walnut stain on Red Oak Hardwood. The cabinetry was specifed by Mick DeGiulo's office and they can share that information with you. The counterops are Carrara marble. When using this marble one must be willing to accept the patina that will occur.
