One SEED is a boutique firm based in Vancouver, BC, that is quickly gaining momentum and recognition. Our projects range from house renovations, to custom homes, to retail and commercial interiors. As each project is unique, we are constantly inspired by clients and surroundings to approach design with passion and sensitivity.

sustainable: We believe in creating healthy spaces that tread lightly on the environment. We are trained Passive House Design Professionals. We favour passive heating, cooling, lighting, and ventilation. We are environmental leaders in our field because of our commitment to the latest advancements in green design and construction.

evocative: We believe that the built form should move you. Our projects are striking from the exterior, yet integrated with their surroundings. Our inspired interiors add poetry and awe to the daily activities that transpire within.

efficient: We believe in carefully planned designs which are down-to-earth and functional. Our flexible designs accommodate changes in needs and uses over time. We strive to make the best use of space, and not to build more than necessary.

distinct: We believe that building a custom home or space is exciting, and should be fun! We are approachable, attentive and dedicated to our clients. We undertake a collaborative design process with our clients to ensure that their unique character shines through in the final built form.

We specialize in sustainable and high performance designs, including LEED and Passive House, for a full spectrum of projects ranging from new build custom homes to residential renovations, from retail interiors to commercial office tenant improvements, and from restaurant and cafe fit-outs to bar and pub interiors.

    One SEED Architecture + Interiors Hi, sorry my response took so long. The fireplace tile is Durastone in hammered slate grey, with matching grout and schluter stainless steel corner trim. All purchased from Ames Tile in Vancouver, BC. The fireplace is the marquis infinite, purchased from Vancouver Gas Fireplaces. Cheers.
