Pine Street Carpenters & The Kitchen Studio Thanks for the inquiry. Both the house and the wall were constructed using serpentine stone, a greenish rock quarried locally (southeastern Pennsylvania). The house was built in 1845 using local serpentine stone, and we did the same when constructing the new wall & patio. Hope this helps!

Pine Street Carpenters & The Kitchen Studio @Emilie Helms - both Cambria and Caesarstone are excellent quartz options.

soberg The various brands of "quartz" (actually engineered stone) are similar in performance and durability according to Consumer Reports, so you can safely choose by visual factors such as color and pattern.

Writely Yours PR + Marketing That would be a great feature, I hope they create some sort of searchable article archive.

Pine Street Carpenters & The Kitchen Studio In the search field, type in garden (or something more specific if you'd like, e.g., "perennial garden," "English garden," "orange flowers," etc.) and select "Ideabooks" from the pull-down option. This will search for all the relevant articles for you. Hope it helps!

Pine Street Carpenters & The Kitchen Studio They do not list a US distributor on their website, but I'd contact them at http://en.galbox.it/contact-us.html to see what is possible. Good luck!

Teri Ginsburg Hi, is the subway tile porcelain? Really beautifully done.

Pine Street Carpenters & The Kitchen Studio Thanks, Teri! The subway tile is not porcelain. It a 3x6 beveled white tile from Adex's Neri collection. Hope this helps!
