Urban Steelworks

We contacted several contractors about custom railing 'sections' between our front porch and lower driveway, and we decided on Urban Steelworks. Since we live in the woods we wanted something that looked natural. Rob added branch elements to the posts, some beautiful pine cones, and even bent the posts a bit to look more like a tree branch than a railing. There was one issue we had, and Rob worked with us to change it in order to make us happy. When the work was complete, Rob cleaned up better than many others would do! Over the past 12 years, I have worked with Rob on a number of residential projects including railings for new construction and remodels. He is creative and thoughtful in his design - and his work is high quality and durable. Rob is fun to work with and has a very good eye. When he delivers and installs his pieces on our job sites, it is often the finishing touch and truly completes the project.
