Business Description
The design process is an intimate union between designer and client. We are collaborating to create not just a home, but a lifestyle. Each project is individually conceived and meticulously crafted to accommodate all the needs of my clients.

My ultimate goal is to create interior spaces that reflect my client's personalities and interests. Creating a home that is endlessly interesting, timeless and executes each client's definition of their own "personal comfort".

A house is not a home. Until we make it one. Yours.

Hello. That ceramic wall tile is from Ann Sacks. It's called ASC Flannel. in a 3x9 layout. The ceiling tile is the same tile in 3x3. The marble shower floor tile is also from Ann Sacks. "Annamaria - Honed" in 8x16 pieces.

Excited to hear about this new edition; I purchased the original book some years ago. We are very fortunate to have people like Virginia McAlester in Dallas. She's been instrumental in protecting many of our vintage architectural treasures.

Where can I get this book? is it available online? I think it is a great book to have in your library, as an architect or achitectural student.

Hello. That is a redwood ceiling in a dark coffee stain. The stain was a custom mix onsite, so I don't have an "official" name for it.

Hello. That was our client's bench and I'm not sure where she purchased it originally. You can find similar at RoomandBoard.com. Here is a link to their bench seats..... http://sitesearch.roomandboard.com/?all=0;i=1;q=bench;search=bench;tp=full The photo below shows one of their benches. It is the "Parsons" in "Dwell Linen" fabric. They come in multiple sizes too.

Hi. We mounted a block of wood on the wall right above the wainscott that is painted out the same color as the wall. Then we hung the mirrors from that block of wood with picture hanging wire like you hang a normal mirror or picture frame. That holds the frame out in front of the wainscott. Depending on how thick that block of wood is...that determines how much of an "angle" the mirror will have to the viewer. Hope that helps.

A very important and well-written article, emphasizing the technical, aesthetic and "sustainable" nature of our craft. In addition, I personally try to produce images that draw the viewer in, making him/her want to be there. I take my slogan to heart: "...when the IMAGE becomes ART...".

Hello. That was a custom door I designed with Marty Frenkel of Rituals (he's since retired). It has a wood frame with decorative iron work and a glass panel that opens into the house to let air through on warm days and to be able to clean the glass. Some detail images below.

Hi. I purchased that daybed from DWR.com. It is called the "Sliding Sleeper Sofa, #1391". It does convert into a queen size bed. I then designed a custom slipcover for it. You can find the link to the sleeper sofa here.... http://www.dwr.com/product/sliding-sofa.do?from=Search&cx=0&query=1391

Hi Nancy. We actually bought the glass and spine garage doors from a garage door manufacture. The front of the garage door opens and the side by the front door is fixed. I unfortunately do not have their information anymore.
