Hello. They are 3/4" walnut, no sapwood, un-steamed, square pegs, glazed to accent knots etc, sanded, installed, and finished with 4 coats of Tung Oil (the material came from Rehmyer wood floors, they were finished onsite)

are you sure on the room dimensions? Ive seen the floor plan and the room seems more rectangular than square. Im trying to duplicate the wall with the tv unit and have a corner fireplace the same as this room and would like to know the dimension of the angled wall with the fireplace. Any detailed diagrams of the fireplace set up? thank you for all your detailed answers! Love your designs!

The TV Unit: This custom piece is approximately 8 1/2 feet wide by 7 1/2 feet high and the depth of the shelves is about 12 inches. The TV pictured is 47". Each side piece is approximately 30 inches.

The mantle's height was constructed on field but we're estimating about 60-65 inches. Thanks!

Hello, can you tell me what kind of tiles you used around the fireplace? They're very pretty but I can't seem to zoom in on them. Thanks!

Hello! The tile around the fireplace is a natural travertine mosaic from Dal Tile, and the hearth color (floor area surrounding) is 'Durango', also travertine.

Can you tell me what the height of the center shelf is? Looks lower than the ones on the side, which I am guessing are around 30"?

    Beautifully done.

Thank you!! You are correct, it is about 3" lower than the flanking tops.

Am I understanding that the doors do not open? I was wondering something different. I wondered if it was a "two-way" fireplace and perhaps opened to family room and then to an office or bedroom or sitting area behind this room...
  • PRO
    Farinelli Construction, Inc.
The doors do open to the Family Room. It is a one sided Fireplace.

The fireplace is in the corner, so behind the fireplace there would be a 90 degree angle. The front is 51 inches wide and tall. Hope this helps!

  • mary smolen

Thank you, but I don't get the 90 degree angle. Would't it be placed at a 45 degree angle?

Thanks for the message! I would suggest contacting a local contractor in your area for a quote! Size and material would make a difference in pricing as well as their labor, etc.

    Good luck!

We only make custom pieces so we don't have a standard price for this. There are a few factors that would play a role in the pricing so it's hard to give you a set number! Sorry!

The ottomon would depend on your location, we don't ship our custom pieces, so if you were local, we'd be happy to meet with you or give you some quotes. If you're not local, we'd suggest contacting a local designer!

Those pillows were custom made with fabric from Duralee (Diogi, Baltic).

The porcelain garden stool was purchased on Overstock.com, they have similar options if you can't find this exact piece.

    Hope this helps! Thanks!
