ON THE BOARDS DESIGN is a full service architectural design firm specializing in custom residential design projects utilizing traditional building forms, details and materials, serving the greater Boston Area.
With 30 years of experience in custom residential architecture, Michael Szalaji, AIA,
strives to create a “team” approach to projects of all sizes, from small bathroom remodels to major home renovations and new construction. He remains open to suggestions throughout the design and construction process, as to cost effectiveness and construction simplicity, while always maintaining the integrity of the overall design concept.
The ultimate goal of every project of On the Boards Design is the creation of designs that are beautiful yet practical solutions to residential living challenges, that are aesthetically in keeping with the feel of the surrounding environment, and that will provide families with a home they will be comfortable in for many years to come.
