“The Lighthouse organization is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Our beloved 82 yr old Momma passed away after a very short fight with Stage 4 Lung Cancer & our Dad had passed away 8 years earlier. My brother & I, as well as all her family & friends adored her & the loss was devastating. They had a long & fulfilling marriage & had moved to their last home out at the Reservoir back in 1976 & not surprisingly, they accumulated a great many things. But, In addition, neither one of them EVER threw anything away.! I mean Never! Not a cotton-picking thing y’all!!! Bless ‘em!!!! So after she passed in early August, we had an almost overwhelming job ahead of us because we were selling her home as per her request. Our amazing real estate agent, Suzie McDowell, gave us the contact for Lighthouse & y’all, they were our LIFESAVERS!!! They came in, hit room by room & efficiently divided things up into throw away, donate or things my brother & I wanted. And I’m sure when you have a group come into your home, people you don’t know, can make you a little leery. Well we can attest to the fact that they are in fact, very trustworthy! We couldn’t find a jade necklace, that my mom wore almost every day of her life & we remembered she hadn’t been wearing it the last month of her battle. We looked & looked, couldn’t find it & thought that she had probably left it at one of her doctor appointments. So we showed them a picture of it & said if they ran across it, would they let us know. These amazing ladies looked through every pocket, every nook and cranny, even checked inside every purse or wallet she had! After the first two visits they had not found it, and we just figured it was lost at a Dr.’s office& told them not to worry about it. On the 3rd visit, 1 of their amazing ladies, Jamie, came running up to me & in her hand was Momma’s jade necklace! Mom had evidently put it at the bottom of a little jewelry dish & there were rocks (?) all over the top of it!! I literally sat down and cried for like five minutes, but it was definitely a very happy cry. Weepy eyes & Hugs all around!!! All of us were & so impressed that they kept up the search for us. These ladies as a whole group, are just some of the nicest, good hearted, fun to talk to but Fantastic at organization & keeping (ME) us, the job at hand, on track!! A big shout out to Jamie who came out last to help us get the last bits & organize my Mom’s years worth of her Artwork she produced over decades. The whole Lighthouse organization has most Definitely been one of the biggest Blessings during this whole experience & as you probably can tell, the Whole Berry/Holmes Family HIGHLY recommends them.”
