“We purchased a mid-century ranch home and needed Character Builders to remodel two bathrooms, relocate laundry from a utility room off the kitchen to the back area of one of the bathrooms, oversee refinishing wood floors throughout, install new molding on all doors and windows, texture all walls, and supervise complete painting of the whole interior, all with a 7-week deadline so we could move in before the lease ran out on our apartment! The master bathroom design began with a difficult footprint - a long narrow room with no water closet and closet space behind louvered doors along one wall. The remodel of that room was fabulous. Keith delivered everything we wanted in the 'whole house remodel' despite the time crunch we imposed. He would let me know the decisions and selections needed for the next step of the remodel with plenty of time for me to give him my answer. His subcontractors did great work. Keith encountered many things that were unexpected in remodeling a home more than 60 years old; he would have two or three solutions that he would present to us, and would let us choose. I appreciated his collaboration with us most of all.”

The current job is a 160 year old heritage site here in Napa. Vince is a licensed registered contractor in the state of California. “Silvio and his team are fantastic. We have worked with them on two project over the course of several years - they remolded our basement and most recently our kitchen. Silvio is exceptionally professional, timely, and fair. HE also has great aesthetic taste; he has made suggestions to improve our house that our architect hasn't even thought about. We implemented many of them and haven't regretted any. His crew is friendly, respectful and hard working. I highly recommend them.”

“I have several reasons for highly recommending Smith & Son Inc. Our project was the installation of a composite deck over a worn out cement patio. Out of the three quotes we received, Lance Smith not only provided us with a detailed quote very quickly, he was the only individual we met with who followed up with us by telephone to discuss his quote. This discussion led to further clarity regarding our project and savings on the overall cost, putting us within our budget. Lance recommended a particular decking material which we are extremely pleased with. Knowing we were eager to start, Lance found a way to begin our project much sooner than expected. His three man crew was led by a seasoned and experienced foreman who not only guided his team, but also checked in with us frequently to make sure we were satisfied. Noe took great pride in his work and was very eager to please. They kept the work area tidy and safely stowed their equipment at the end of their workday. We are very happy with the finished project which exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to use Smith & Son again and would highly recommend them to friends and family.”

“It was great working with Zack Ilinetsky and his team. They were professional, communicative, and respectful. They kept the project going and were amazingly on time (5 weeks) to finish the project. There were so many moving parts that Zack kept track of and was on top of, so no delays. All of the inspections were passed with flying colors. He kept the costs down as much as possible, always checking in on how to do things without unnecessarily increasing costs, though he certainly didn't cut corners. He was very thorough and made sure we all were happy with the results. We were very impressed with his work and look forward to using Green Bay Remodeling again for future work on our home.”

“Our company has worked with QPS for several years. We have done business with more than 140 other general contractors and other construction companies, both locally and throughout the state of California. Without question, we find QPS to be one of the top three general contractors that we have ever worked with. They are attentive, dependable and a pleasure to work with. They always do what they say they’re going to do but even more than that they under promise and over deliver every single time on every single project. Their prices are more than fair and they never overcharge….. it’s run like a family business is supposed to be operated. There are never excuses. QPS has a significant staff of qualified professionals. They never take on more work than they can handle or work that they are not qualified for. To be honest, we are always looking for projects to do so that we can partner our clients with them. “We contracted with Contractor 2.0 to have a small part of our drywall repaired on our ceiling-- they were quick, responsive and did a good job on the repair within 2 days. It was also at an affordable price. Small areas for opportunities for growth would be direct communication with the repair person so that it's easier to communicate about any potential delays.
