“I have had the pleasure of being introduced to Spencer Wolfe and his team by a mutual client. Our first meeting was a little like a "blind date" in that we had not previously met or discussed their bathroom project but we hit it off in the best professional way possible. Spencer listens to his clients and other professionals. He is patient and asks detailed questions because he realizes that a remodel is done when the project is thought through in its entirety from the beginning before a construction contract is even presented. He has experienced trade contractors (plumber, electrician, tile installer etc) that he brings to our client's home to discuss the details with them so that he can provide my clients with a fixed price contract with as few allowances as possible. He is professional and timely in his communication and brings any concerns to my attention right away. I have begun introducing him to my clients who have not already found a contractor and they are pleased to choose Wolfe Inc as their remodeling team.”

“Matt Hanes and his son Dave did a terrific job on our remodel of a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo in Silverado. Both men were a pleasure to work with. Matt handles the overall supervision of the work and Dave pays close attention to every detail of the project. In addition, Dave is a highly skilled cabinet maker and finish carpenter. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets were fully custom and beautifully made...and a very fair price. We were also very pleased with their internal team and the subs with whom they have relationships. On many occasions during the course of our project, both Matt and Dave provided valuable input into the structural and well as the esthetic design elements. The finished product was greatly enhanced as a result of their suggestions. Because we live in the East Bay we were not able to closely supervise their work but every stage was completed on time (or very nearly so), and the quality of their work was exceptional. And (importantly) there were no cost overruns and no billing surprises!”

“I am an interior designer in the San Francisco Bay Area and it has been my distinct pleasure to work with Frank Puliafico on many projects since 1992. His work, and that of his excellent crews, is of the highest quality and the experience of working with Frank is always a delight. Designers always worry about their projects but I never worry about a project if Frank is the builder. He is, at all times, organized, proactive, honest, dependable, trustworthy and smart. He has carefully trained his crews and they are some of the best craftsmen (and people) I've had the pleasure to work with in my career. Frank has the breadth of knowledge and experience to assess a job, trouble-shoot any potential issues in advance, fairly price and prepare spreadsheets on both costs and schedule, and manage all aspects of the project effortlessly (or at least it seems that way!). “Our 2014 renovation is the third building project we have done with Arrowtown. Aside from the quality construction work they do, what I particularly like about this company is that they really listened to us and then followed up on our requests regarding the project. This time we were adding another building to the property and we wanted it to look like it was built in the same style as the original. Except for the fact that we have not yet done the landscaping around the new structure you would think it was built at the same time as the original structures on the property. They were also very good at working with the local permit office, which can be a challenge.”
