That's a well organized laundry room. How about picking out an art print and taking a paint color from it?

You could paint inside the cove where the washer and dryer is a fun color, like orange or blue. And hang fun prints on the walls outside.

I would paint it all one color, ceilings and all. If you have non-textured ceilings you could put a fun trellis wallcovering on the flat ceiling that runs towards the closet. Add a patterned curtain in which you can draw your paint color from on the closet door with a simple tension rod. Pull in some fun art for the walls and you are done!

Very clean and well organized, that's half the battle.. Add some fun colors, add some pendants from where your cans are now, giving some extra light/interest. Maybe add a blackboard for some fun doodles/notes/calendar... maybe add bead board on the robe hook wall?

You could absolutely have some fun with the shelves - if the walls are textured, painting in one color, using a glaze maybe dry-brushed over it could help bring some movement, solid behind the shelves, the shelves without the glaze, paint-on/wipe-around the glaze on the odd wall in that cubby...use baskets like the Coastal Eclectic and make your own drying rack(s!) - maybe cream and brown as the coastal eclectic shows with a hint of turquoise here and there for a little bit of bright here and there...

If you don't want your washer and dryer to be constantly showing, you could install a sliding door there. Our hardware would be perfect for that. I included a few similar photos for reference (some are not laundry rooms, but give you the idea).
