Need advice for adding cabinet/counter space in window seat area

We want to add counter/cabinet space in our kitchen. Need to use the area where we have a window seat. The available wall is 61"W. I'm wondering if upper cabinets at 48"W or so would look OK above a 60"W lower counter. The "dilemma" is that there is a bay window that would be at 90 degrees to these upper cabinets. Will this look awful?

lower cabs/counter 60"W ONLY

lower cabs/counter 60"W and uppers centered at 48"W

lower cabs/counter 60"W and uppers also at 60"W

No...no movement yet...lol. Hard to decide with only 8 votes. Base cabinets only is ahead but we are going to put a wine frig over there so I really wanted some glass upper cabinet doors for stemware. Don't know what to do!

A better solution, will be to install cabinets in the space currently occupied by the bench.

But I love my bench. I know we have the wrong table there now but that's part of the plan in the future...correct size and shape table. We want to be able to use the bench.
