I don't see an answer on the flooring question. I would like more info on the floor. ie. species, stain, supplier.

The floor is reclaimed pine.

I appreciate that this kitchen does not have an island. I know, I know, that's what "everybody" puts in their kitchen, but this makes me want to sit down at the table and chat with the cook while my grandkids run their cars along that beautiful floor. (I know, they might scratch it. I have a "hand-sculpted" hickory kitchen floor and LOVE it...and the grandkids do things that will scratch it up eventually.)

I dont want an island either Give me a kitchen table and a door in the kitchen perfection
