It's custom steel with a blackened finish. Took a fair bit of coordination and cost estimating with fabricators

Mary J, there was a lot of cost estimating with fabricators. End result was over $5k. Seems like a lot. But believe me, that was not the high bid. I'd be happy to discuss the design and fabrication process that took place.
Regarding your next question "who could we contact to design one?" . . . I could design one - if it makes sense. What part of the country do you live in? Is this part of a larger project? I have some thoughts that might save you some time and money. Please feel free to shoot me an email or give me a call. BTW - have you seen the exterior photos of this project?
