Thank you. Do you know if the carpenters put the panels on wood, or some other material? Just curious what this looks like custom. The panels you buy are either manufactered or on felt.

You can go two routes - contact and support a local millwork company and they can make from scratch. More time involved, and cost

Or - you can purchase prefab panels. Search Odyssey Wallcoverings here in Canada, they have a line called Woodwerx that is easily installed - comes with acoustic panel, or just standard, Or there is another company out of Korea called Akupanel

Google wood slat wall panels there are many as for quality IMO if they look great they will be fine . How much wear and tear on a vertical wall?

I am going to use the NewTechWood (see link below) on the outside of my house. It is synthethic but really looks good in person (my girlfriend used it on the outside of her house)
