Can you get good quality lighting on Amazon?

Hi! I'm looking for light fixtures for my remodel and I see a lot of dupes of lighting that I like on Amazon but I'm worried about the quailty. Are there any good quality lights that are sold on Amazon? Would love for suggestions on other places to look for more reasonbaly priced lighting.

If you stick to name brands then you are fine. When you get to brands that are clearly down market or the listings aren’t even English you are taking a risk. If it’s a fixture like an island pendant that could be easily swapped down the line it might be worth the risk, but as with everything you get what you pay for
