Brashgirl Gardens

How to shrink your backyard in 50,000 easy dollars. A lot of foliage to maintain, not much yard to mow. I like it. And wouldn't you love being a kid and sneaking through this shrubbery. Course, your mum wouldn't let you, which makes it more fun.

This is fabulous, assuming a natural water source. But doesn't it seem somehow contrived? What do you think?

Yet another part of the Potager Garden. You could lose a kid in here, it is so vast. Wouldn't you love to grow up in a home with a garden like this?

Here's another view of the Potager Garden, a classic French-style garden. Just wow....

At first glance, for a new nanoseconds, I wondered, "why TWO yellow brick roads?" You get the point. This is abfab. I mean it. It looks more like a well-maintained city park than someone's backyard. But what if these planting beds were raised?

Another raised-bed vegetable garden right out of Square Foot Gardening. Love the rustic fence with critter wire. This makes the space so much more appealing than it would be with just the raised beds.

Very creative use of a long, narrow backyard. Bocce ball or croquet fields? The grill, counter and cabinetry at lower right shows that someone is ready for big-time entertaining... just let me know and I'll be there!

The heavily-vined arbor leads to yet another magical garden, flawlessly kept up. If I had a garden like this, how would I ever leave it?

How beautiful, almost surreal, and perfectly integrated into the site and trees. If I fell down a rabbit-hole and into a magical world, I would expect it to look much like this.

Beautiful garden, beautifully photographed. This should be the cover of a children's book where the garden gate leads to an unbearably cool place, like we all want to go to.

Arbor, colors, enclosed garden, walkway to garden.

Garden enclosure idea very cool. The garden space is not exactly beautiful but the fence and twigs give it a romance it lacks.
