what color tiles were used as the back splash? - bought a condo that has 1980 gray melamine cabinets, that are in perfect condition. i updated them with long brushed nickel hardware/knobs and i plan to keep them and work my kitchen around them. the kitchen currently has wallpaper and old countertops. i love this gray/white marble top and wondering if i should be using white subway tiles, with gray gout? should i be looking at other color tiles? »
cabinet maker? - Can you tell me what company makes these cabinets? I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel and am having a really hard time finding an actual gray. I would like to see some woodgrain, but don't want brown. »
Island. Lovely - I love this island and am needing to make a decision about the design of ours ASAP re: our kitchen reno of a 1920s home. Our kitchen is not huge and the openness on the bottom of this island, I feel, might be a better choice for this close space. My question is about cleaning under it. Has this been a challenge for the homeowner? Thank you. »
Another partially open island. Here the leg goes all the way up to the countertop, but because the flat panel of the cabinet needs a place to intersect, the top section of the leg is flat and the bottom section is shaped. Again, notice how the panels are recessed significantly, making these legs stand out visually.
gray cabinets, marble counter, not a fan of the black counter tops, love the lights in the upper cabinets, love the plate rack above the sink and the decorative plate rack. just love this kitchen. This is the feel I want in my kitchen
