Westover Landscape Design, Inc. Hello Sarah, thanks for your note. The variegated shrub in the picture is a Red Twig Dogwood Shrub. The winter color of the red twigs (especially in the snow) is spectacular. Good luck with your project! Robert
Westover Landscape Design, Inc. Hi Cory, thanks for the question. Those are daylily plants, not ornamental grasses. We planted two types, Hyperion and Autumn Prince. Hope this helps. Robert
Westover Landscape Design, Inc. I'm sorry, I don't. They are standard spacing for this type of pre-made picket fence. My guess is 2 1/2 - 3 inch spacing. This is a pretty standard off the shelf fence, not custom at all.
A narrow strip of grass leads the eye to a uniform massing of daylilies here. The rustic wood fence not only serves as a backdrop for these perennials, but divides the property into public and semiprivate spaces. The inner plants are arranged en masse, blocking the view of the curb from the house without being unneighborly.
Do this when we add fence on back side of driveway.

Love the color scheme there, the blues, greens and whites. Excellent plantings offer a mix of flowers a variegated foliage in the color scheme. Nice texture. Good balance of public and private space in the front yard.
