marble - I just need an advice. Is it a problem to use marble in the bathroom? I am planning to reno my master bathroom and would love to utilize all marble (carrara or satuarietto). But the samples I brought home seem to be extremely porous( soaks water in minutes). Is this normal or I should be searching a different vendor? »
What cutover is required to install the sink - template included? - Hi, I love this bathroom and doing my half bath with similar product and layout. The sink is not flat so I want to know what type of countertop cutout is needed to have the sink lay flat like this. thank you »
madelaine_lam Thank you so much. I'm adding a herringbone pattern on my backsplash and the floor is a 17x24 off set so I just wanted to make sure it would look good and not too busy

thebuilderdepot.com The backsplash is Carrara Bianco. Available from thebuilderdepot.com for $11.75 sq.ft. We stock it in both honed and polished. (picture attached).
What is the mfg of the towel rack? Thanks. - I like the straight line that the towel hangs from...have not seen this type in stores...so much better than the typical 'round' design. »
can you please advise who makes the sinks and also, what are the countertop and ledge as well as the herringbone backsplash on the wall. Thanks very much »
Choose tile placement carefully. I've been showing you lots of bathrooms that stay away from mosaic tile, but If you love the texture and the look, then place it where it will need the least amount of cleaning. This bathroom vanity uses solid marble slabs all around the business area of the bathroom, with the herringbone mosaic placed higher so it's out of the splash zone.
Like the pattern of the subway tile. Also, like the Carrera marble subway tiles even though I am sick of Carrera marble. It has been done to death by now.
