How much is the estimates cost to built this stand up shower? - Just want to know about how much the estimate cost to built small stand up shower like this »
The Kingston Group - Remodeling Specialists our average custom stand up shower is around $4000, but this one was high end and had a lot of expensive tile and the shower valve and trim were high as well. This one was more like $6500±.
The Kingston Group - Remodeling Specialists Same as the tile question. I would refer to a designer, but i like greys (blue, green, stone) in bathrooms. Good luck
The Kingston Group - Remodeling Specialists I'm personally not a huge fan of a burst of color. I lean towards an accent glass or mosaic. I like grey's and stone against subway myself. As for tan tiles and stone tiles like this picture, i lean towards subtle details like the pencil nosing and diamond tiles as a change. Too much color can take away from the spa like feel of this particular shower.
Sorry i don't have much for you. I would highly recommend asking the question of some interior design professionals in the houzz community. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
The Kingston Group - Remodeling Specialists Outside the shower area is a travertine in brickjoint pattern. I think it's the same tile as you see on the wall
The Kingston Group - Remodeling Specialists If you aren't using a hand held you may want to stay within 3' of the shower head, but that all depends on shower pressure and head height - the dreaded physics problem.
The Kingston Group - Remodeling Specialists The bench is 12" deep. 10" will work but if you plan to actually sit down as opposed to using it to shave/wash legs then you may want to stick with 12"
Shower - Please send me the dimensions of this shower - H x W x D --- I have a very small space to create a shower and this looks like it might work. Thank you. »
benjijk yes, they can be used, although they are heavier, and would require a higher quality bonding adhesive. Showers are moist environments, and I'd recommend going with lighter tiles. [tiledaily.com]
