For this small but breezy ocean apartment, the design needed to balance the clients’ desire for an Art Deco inspired space with the casual culture of Southern California beach life.The open kitchen was reduced to its essential elements so as not to compete with the surrounding elements. The challenging floor plan rendered the kitchen visible as you enter the apartment, the simplicity of the kitchen with its all white cabinets, black granite counters and stainless steel accents renders the kitchen neutral space.
