Ron Brenner Architects We would typically recommend venting the porch ceiling with continuous vent strips along the outside and inside edges - or a series of "puck" vents scattered evenly across the ceiling. There are also roof to wall vents available that would be installed along the upper edge of the porch roof. If you are in a high moisture area this may be a better solution - combined with the continuous strip venting.
Talk to your local building professionals to make sure you are using appropriate venting solutions for your area and for your particular home design.

Front porch is great, roof lines are good. Like the connector to the garage. Do not like the dormer detail. Not enough or not large enough windows on 2nd floor.
