For the sophisticated, chic teenager we went with a bit of a Hollywood Regency flair. Above the bed is a patch of wallpaper framed in with molding. The flea market found mirror is painted high-gloss black, and a white resin ram's head is attached.
Courtney Blanton Interiors I design the space and shop for the products and materials. Then my upholsterer, contractor and others put it together and install it for me. Thanks, and happy designing!
Courtney Blanton Interiors I found it in a remnant pile at a wallpaper store. I don't know the designer of the wallpaper, unfortunately. If you're ever looking for a small patch of wallpaper you can go to your local wallpaper store to see if they have remnants. Easily available and much less expensive.
Courtney Blanton Interiors I purchased it from HD Buttercup in LA, but I recently saw it on ylighting.com under pendants/light shade shade 95 + chandelier
What flooring is used in this photo? - I absolutely love this room! So adorable! Also where can I find a bed like the one in the picture? I don't live in Los Angelas or any place where there is another vender. Thanks! »
Courtney Blanton Interiors It is a soft sheepskin rug. They used to sell it at West Elm, but don't anymore. I think you can find them online. Just make sure that it is a soft version not the rough kind.
Courtney Blanton Interiors Thank you! That is a very sweet compliment. I purchased the ram's head from Z Gallery and found an old mirror that I painted high gloss black. I took the mirror to my mirror supplier who drilled a hole through the mirror so I could mount the ram's head on the wall after the mirror was mounted. Hope that helps. Happy designing!
Courtney Blanton Interiors The rug is from West Elm. I put two of them together under the bed. The chandelier is from HD Buttercup in Los Angeles. The roman shades are from Etsy, and the Vogue pictures are from Z Gallery. Happy designing!
Courtney Blanton Interiors The bedding and sheets are from Restoration Hardware, the chair is a hot pink velvet COM (client's own material) with chair from Ballard Designs, and the pillow was custom-made by my upholsterer.
Courtney Blanton Interiors The color is called Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore. I would still have used the same paint if there were curtains instead of Roman shades. Thanks and happy designing!
