What material? - Hi Lorraine! Beautiful room, in fact I'm doing the exact same thing at my place. One last detail I have to figure out is the material. Some suggest PVC and others real wood...what do you suggest? Thanks for your advise. »

Need help for my living and dining room area - I have a lot of wood in my house; wall panels and floor and kitchen, and i want to keep it. What could I do to update the look a little and add a shabby Chic feel? »
The Out-of-Sight SolutionA more formal living room (or a really small one) just isn't going to work if you try to incorporate the toys. So hide them. Here there are perfect built-ins for storing Lego pieces and jigsaw puzzles.
Really like the colours, the chairs and the table. We like beige and brown and white - essentially a warmer version of the cape cod style with a hint of freshness eg coloured cushions maybe blue for us instead of lime or pink
