Granite count tops are enhanced with tile splashes. Porcelain tile on the floors provide an excellent wearable surface. The ceiling is now recessed to give the room a large, airy feeling. Open soffits with indirect lighting. A few glass doors give the room character. Varied upper cabinet depth at the dry bar provide additional character. The island provides storage, additional work space, and a small breakfast bar.
