bearandratch I like in Northern CA. Our summers are hot, no rain. Winter is cold but not freezing. Anyone know if the Redbud tree would do well in my area?

Marie Meko, Allied ASID I think a firepit in a round configuration about 12 feet should be perfect.. Spray paint a circle in the grass and see hoe that looks and if you have room and want to increase the circumference will know.. Good luck!

Maybe we could build something like this in the back yard. I see a shorter stacked stone wall (on right) and some small stacked stone walls up the hill with something pretty planted in front of the walls. I really like the fire pit and would love a live fire from time to time. Oleander, day lilies, lavender might work?
