Walker Zanger It looks to be closest to a Statuary White but there are many Calacata's that would work as well. Where are you located? I can tell you the nearest Walker Zanger slab showroom where you can go and view full slabs.
This lovely countertop / table is made of marble. How has it been treated to deal with the fact that marble is a very porous stone, and thus prone to staining easily?
Thanks! »
What size Harmon lights did you use over the island? How far apart are they spaced? I'm having trouble deciding size and spacing for my 10' x 5' island. »
This table-style island's marble countertop makes it more island-like (it would read very differently with a wood top), and the counter stools have backs, making them look a bit more like chairs. Three pendants overhead is more likely to be seen over an island than a kitchen table. It's the seating on both sides of the island and the lack of closed cabinet storage that really makes an island look like a table.
Tip: For more of a dining-room feel, opt for a chandelier instead of pendants.
The kitchen table that also serves as prep surface. I am so in love with this kitchen — the simplicity of the color scheme (only black, white and marble) and the elegant layout. The idea of a gathering table on chunky turned legs that also plays the role of prep surface when needed is genius. Top all that off with gleaming chrome pendants, and it's nearly perfect.

love the legs on this table and the dark on white look! We could do dark legs and cream granite to match the floor for a nice contrast. Could do half islnd with storage and half table like this.
