Nan This whole house is absolutely amazing. I don't think I've ever been so struck by architecture, furnishings and use of materials. Most contemporaries come off sterile and uncomfortable but you achieved warmth and a welcoming space. Very creative and non typical. Stunning color palette.

Domiteaux + Baggett Architects, PLLC a local custom cabinet maker made the cabinets...he found this extruded aluminum piece, that he cut to fit on each door for the handle.

Domiteaux + Baggett Architects, PLLC there is a 3 sided fireplace that separate the kitchen and living room. the "coils" or circles you see are a sculpture in the gas fireplace. these were custom made by Cayle Cox (dallas area) (sorry i do not have his website, but you can google him to find him). i will give you a website for another source as well, someone who has done similar pieces for us as well: http://www.metalexpressionsdallas.com/

i think i have answered this question. the fireplace itself is a site manufacturer piece, meaning the flue was built on site, custom.

Domiteaux + Baggett Architects, PLLC this a tile. it is an irregular, triangular shape. unfortunately i have not been able to find it since this project. it is from italy and the showroom that carried it stopped carrying it, i can not find it from any other source.

BY DESIGN Builders We really like the red tile too! It reminds of of this Porcelanosa Ceramic Mosaic that comes in 8x12s but looks like individual mosaics.
We saw this in the Chicago showroom at the Merchandise Mart and it was stunning!
