The interior has incredible detail with coffered ceilings and wood paneling on the walls in the entry. The wide plank oak flooring stands out against the crisp white walls and elegant lighting. The floor to ceiling windows and doors provide plenty of light for the open floor plan. The wide arched doorways add to the architectural detail throughout the living areas. Built by Phillip Vlahos of Destin Custom Home Builders. It was designed by Bob Chatham Custom Home Design and decorated by Allyson Runnels.

This beautiful, contemporary wine cellar was put into a commercial space in the San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina. This custom design and space created an intimate space for private parties, but also beautifully showcases the Restaurant's wine selection in both Vintageview racking and custom stained rustic redwood racking. Some unique features of this cellar include its custom fumed white oak stain, the show stopping glass wall looking in to the cellar, horizontal bottle display, large format bottle storage, and The Berkel Cured Meat slicer used for private parties and wine tasting events. This custom wine cellar was built in the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina in a contemporary style designed for intermittent usage. This modern, beautiful custom wine cellars is decked out with VintageView racking, as well as under the counter redwood racking with a custom fumed oak stain. The Rolling Ladder ensures easy access to all wine storage throughout the room. Wine refrigerators have been installed under the opposite counter to keep white wines cooler than the room temperature. The custom design for this project called for bin storage. Wine Case storage options in this cellar work perfectly for a restaurant of this magnitude. This contemporary style is becoming more popular for restaurants and homes alike in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Double sided glass walls enclose this custom wine cellar, with one side visible from the living room, the other from the dining room. Floor to ceiling black metal wine racks line each wall - dual sided as to maximize horizontal label forward design and display. Vintage Cellars, master wine cellar builders out of San Diego, California, were able to design a beautiful looking and equally utilitarian cellar here, fitting over 675 wine bottles with ease. The cooling unit was an RM Coil, traditionally mounted into the racks - but in this instance was recessed into the ceiling. The cooling unit and heat load calculation took into account that there were two large walls of glass here - knowing fully that there would be substantial heat loss through the large single panes on either end. Within the room, beige stone accentuates the contemporary / modern look and matches stunningly with the color scheme and other design features in the surrounding rooms as well.
