We made material and design choices to allow this small space to feel and function at its best. The materials are inline with the nature loving family and the finishes allow the small space to feel light and bright. Wall mounted vanity gives more open feel and room for scale, trash or roaming cat… integrated Kohler “locker” storage in the shower and the hotel style towel rack maximize the storage where you need it!

The bathroom features a new walk-in shower where the bathtub used to be, with Duomo Bianchi floor tiles and Zenith Orion subway wall tiles and custom shower doors. The outdoor area features wooden deck floors and accent shower wall, combined with concrete look Bottega Acero tiles. The hanging planters with succulents complete the "urban jungle" look. An unconventional and artsy bathroom we recently designed, with the intention of bringing out our client's unique personality while optimizing functionality. This is a very small bathroom, so we decided a sleek floating vanity with pull-out drawers would work best. Additional shelving and towel racks were added above the toilet, offering above the head storage that wouldn't make the space appear or feel smaller. Artistic custom European tiling and light fixtures give this bathroom the unique look we were going for - offering edgy graphics and intriguing "eyeball" style lighting. Designed by Chi Renovation & Design who serve Chicago and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. You'll find their work from the Loop through Lincoln Park, Skokie, Wilmette, and all of the way up to Lake Forest.

Custom Shower Enclosure Each element in this shower was carefully selected. The "Rain Forest" marble in the basin is the perfect complement to the "Golden Musk" used on the vanity top. A custom built marble bench was designed for seating. The Raindance Select shower fixture by Hansgrohe offers three jet types. The ability to choose water that carresses, invigorates, or massages delivers a shower experience that pampers the user.

This kitchen proves small East sac bungalows can have high function and all the storage of a larger kitchen. A large peninsula overlooks the dining and living room for an open concept. A lower countertop areas gives prep surface for baking and use of small appliances. Geometric hexite tiles by fireclay are finished with pale blue grout, which complements the upper cabinets. The same hexite pattern was recreated by a local artist on the refrigerator panes. A textured striped linen fabric by Ralph Lauren was selected for the interior clerestory windows of the wall cabinets. Large plank french oak flooring ties the whole home together. A custom Nar designed walnut dining table was crafted to be perfectly sized for the dining room. Eclectic furnishings with leather, steel, brass, and linen textures bring contemporary living to this classic bungalow. A reclaimed piano string board was repurposed as a large format coffee table. Every square inch of this home was optimized with storage including the custom dresser hutch with vanity counter. This petite bath is finished with caviar painted walls, walnut cabinetry, and a retro globe light bar. We think all splashes should have a swoop! The mitered countertop ledge is the clients’ favorite feature of this bath.
