A big living room with many odd shapes on the walls and ceiling. On some parts of the room its up to 4 meter ceiling hight. the room could take a big bold sofa as the walls are painter dark blue and white. Moroccan influences was the inspiration after some travels to Marrakech, they bring the warm and soft textiles and textures into the space. ABC mixed that softness with Industrial metal items from 1920's France and 1910's Britain.

Pour mettre en valeur un plateau industriel nous sommes restés sur une base neutre du blanc au gris, et y avons apporté un peu de douceur par des matériaux tendres (tissus, laines, bois, végétaux).

Mon client, récent propriétaire de cet appartement au centre ville de Rouen, a fait appel à Miss In Situ pour l'aider à concevoir un aménagement et une décoration aux lignes masculines. Nous avons retravaillé l'ensemble des pièces. Nous avons retravaillé l'ensemble du sol de la pièce à vivre, sous la moquette désuète, le parquet massif ancien redonne à cet espace toute son authenticité. Pour mettre en valeur la cheminée en marbre et créer du volume, nous avons peint le mur d'appui dans un bleu profond. L'ensemble de la décoration a été agrémentée par les nombreux beaux objets vintage de notre client.

The idea was to create functional space with a bit of attitude, to reflect the owner's character. The apartment balances minimalism, industrial furniture (lamps and Bertoia chairs), white brick and kitchen in the style of a "French boulangerie". Open kitchen and living room, painted in white and blue, are separated by the island, which serves as both kitchen table and dining space. Bespoke furniture play an important storage role in the apartment, some of them having double functionalities, like the bench, which can be converted to a bed. The richness of the navy color fills up the apartment, with the contrasting white and touches of mustard color giving that edgy look. Ola Jachymiak Studio
