The cozy wood stove with rock wall needed lots of texture in the space to keep it from overwhelming the room. In this living room, velvet fabrics, baskets, pottery, plants, and a warm paint make it great.

A view from the Barn Staircase, which serves two Lofts, the one seen is the home office. A massive stone Chimney was installed as the Focal point of the central Dining space of the Great Room. A custom wrought iron chandelier was constructed to center on the vintage dining table. The railings were custom fabricated of twisted iron bars.

This modern family wanted a home to match. They purchased a beautiful home in Ashburn and wanted the interiors to clean lined, sleek but also colorful. The builder-grade fireplace was given a very modern look with new tile from Porcelanosa and custom made wood mantle. The awkward niches was also given a new look and new purpose with a custom built-in. Both the mantle and built-in were made by Ark Woodworking. We warmed the space with a pop of warm color on the left side of the fireplace wall and balanced with with modern art to the right. A very unique modern chandelier centers the entire design. rich red walls highlight this Reynolds Plantation living room. The cross wood back arm chairs with red leopard print on the inside and rafia fabric on the outside set a dramatic tone. The chandeliers are on remotes to raise and lower for changing light bulbs and cleaning.
