chadbourne + doss architects Hi. This is cold rolled steel that has been blackened with an acid-based blackening agent and finished with wax. The panels were adhered to mdf panels and installed on a cleat system. Thanks for your interest.

chadbourne + doss architects Hi. This is a tight knot western red cedar left natural - no finish. It has now turned a silver grey.

chadbourne + doss architects Hi. So far the Owner's have decided to leave it natural. The cedar has turned silver grey.
If there is any moss or algae build up, pressure washing will remove it, but also take it back to its natural color.
If you desired to maintain the natural cedar color, we would recommend an oil finish. Thanks for your interest.

chadbourne + doss architects Hi. The wall panels to the left are white lacquer wardrobe cabinets. The black wall panels on the right are blackened steel. Thanks for your interest.
