vincentsai Hello - beautiful design - may i ask where you got the rug?
Eminent Interior Design Hello Vincentsai - Another Houzz user asked this question. I am sorry, I am copying my answer and pasting here: "Hello! This wonderful rug was found at a showroom in Minneapolis called Woven Arts. It is from a manufacturer by the name of Tamarian and the design is called, "Billboard Trek". The rug is made up of Wool, Silk and Hemp.
    Thank you for your question."

    Eminent Interior Design Hello,
The tilesetter we used for this project cut the stone tile at a 45 degree miter so that the two surfaces would "wrap" the corner smoothly. The finished product is beautiful and the attention to detail made such a difference. It obviously was not an inexpensive labor undertaking, but was worth it.
    Thank you for your question!

Jessica Finkbiner Last question. What material was used for the back splash?
    Eminent Interior Design Hello Jessica,
Yes, I the pedestal was integrated with the cabinetry and was custom built by a local cabinet shop. The backsplash material is an embossed tile that appears to be mini-mosaics. It creates a beautiful texture and contrast against the walnut cabinetry.
    Thank you for your questions!
