We applied a pearlized paint from Benjamin Moore to give some shimmer and reflection of light.

Especially stunning is when uprights are installed at the base of the panels!

I encourage people to reconsider allowing light to shine out from our buildings at night. Artificial light has a terrible impact on moths and other nocturnal insects. And urban lighting is one of many ways we harm migrating birds. Yea, yea...I know some will say "they're just moths." But did you know that moths are one of our most valuable pollinating insects?
Besides, not that many people are out wandering around at night to enjoy the light show from buildings. I think this is a case of more harm than good.

Obviously, very low maintenance for clients that are often on the go - which was the goal here!
It looks amazing - most visitors reach down and touch it as it looks so real.

As in many of our projects, it is a custom design of our own. It is a 2 1/2" thick slab with black walnut veneer over engineered core, 54 inch pivot door. The hardware was also custom manufactured with marine grade stainless steel.
