We love this ceiling stain too! The wood is burnt hickory and unfortunately we do not have an exact color for the stain, we just played around with various stains until we came up with a mix to use on the wood. I would recommend taking a piece of wood that you will be using and come up with some stain mixes to paint on the wood sample in various places.

We typically select paint colors in context with the other finishes. My best recommendation, without having samples with the exact tones of the cabinet stain, that Sherwin Williams Pediment 7634 or Mindful Gray 7016 would be potential options.

The finish we used has most likely been discontinued. Cocoa Bean will give you a similar feel. However, if you want to get even closer to the Chocolate Chip finish, you could chose their custom colors program and ask them to recreate Chocolate Chip to the best of their ability.

The faucets (they are the same on the island) are the Brizo – Venuto Faucet with SmartTouch Technology in the Brillance Stainless Finish

http://www.brizo.com/kitchen/venuto/faucets/64070LF-SS.html?suppressAnimation=1#.UswiHPvziRM

Yes, the granite is sealed. No, this particular selection doesn’t show fingerprints (it has a fair amount of variety in the surface), but like most granites – it is susceptible to staining. A satin finish (like honed) is a less durable finish than a polished one.

Corner cabinet stain? - Beautiful color combinations! It appears that the corner cabinet with the glass door uppers is a different stain, maybe a gray stain? Can you tell me what this stain is? Is it water based?
