“Jason, Marteen and the Paragon team planted 20 Nellie Stevens Hollies and Green Giant Arborvitae around our perimeter as well as some schip laurels to screen our AC units. The hollies already look fantastic . . . the arborvitaes will as well after a year or two of growth. They dug a continuous bed for the trees, when many others only quoted a bail of pine straw with each tree. They also put in a beautiful pergola over our existing patio. The work was completed over two days in early February, 2015. They were cost competitive and much more accommodating than many of the other landscapers we quoted. I have already referred them to several of our friends, and would highly recommend them.”

“We have used M&C Landscaping for replacing front steps as well as entire large driveway in Cornelius. After getting 4 estimates, I contacted a neighbor to asked who did his driveway which was M&C. The estimates varied by more than $6000 dollars. The Owner, Maynor, said initially that he wouldn't be the highest priced contractor nor the lowest. As it turned out, he was the second lowest and more than that, his process for replacing the driveway exceeded all the other quotes which meant his base for the driveway was deeper after removing the existing concrete and the layers of materials used exceeded all others quotes. Pedro, his lead contractor, set the pitch for drainage and laid EVERY paver with the help of 4 others, The crew was polite, friendly, and cleaned up perfectly each day. The processor 5 days. I provided drinks and donuts as they worked in the heat of the summer last year. Maynor provided a huge list of references and we were able to see his workmanship prior to signing on. This month he put in water drainage systems to stop the shoreline erosion which was occurring above my lakefront walkway. He also replaced my pine needles with rich brown mulch and he and his company highly recommended.”
