I redid my son's room recently and used BM Poolside 775. The color is bright and fun, yet boyish. We have a dark cherry (junior) loft bed and light floors as well. Good luck!

Thank you - I just looked up that color and I like it. I was also thinking of something in greys.

Just to throw out a suggestion bc there are SO many greys our there.... BM Stonington Grey is beautiful (I have it in my younger sons nursery - its soft, subtle and still grey) but you may want something a bit darker (i.e. Coventry Grey?) since's he's an older boy.

I like all your suggestions...I also found some that are like a blue gray - blue lace and ashby blue. Thank you for all your ideas, I'm going to get the samples today and see what he likes.

Maybe ask your son what color he would like it is his room after all.
