May I ask about the upholstery fabric - what is it and how does it hold up to children and dogs?

This chair is the Bond Street Club Chair from Donghia. The fabric is in the Great Plains collection from Holly Hunt, called Matchmaker, color "Marshmallow" (1850/02). Specific questions about the fabric would be best directed to Holly Hunt, http://www.hollyhunt.com

It is beautiful. I'm a dog lover but I've trained my dogs to stay off the furniture. There is a wooded area behind my house. There is no way furniture can stay clean w/ animals on it. If they hop up when you're away I recommend covering the furniture. Europeans think we are crazy w/ our animals. Animals there are kept outdoors quite often. I pamper my pets, give them cozy beds but the furniture is not theirs.
