Need help finding a wall color for my living/dining room area

I am looking for a modern but cozy look for my living/dining combo room. It also needs to be a bit inviting. Or floor is Mirage Maple GreyStone color - and so it has hints of white, dark brown and gray.

I am not sure what color palettes to work with. Can you please help?

Most of the pictures I looked at had either grey or white walls, doesn't exactly summon up what I would consider "cozy". If you like turquiose, in a lighter shade I think you'd be ok with that.

Hi, I would probably go with a touch more gray than what is currently on the walls.

The "warm up " to "cozy" may have to come in pops of orange, yellow, turquoise, red in area rugs, pillows, art and accessories.

My suggestion is repaint with a beautiful warm white and bring the grey in with your furniture. Then, as decoenthusiaste suggests, bring in pops of color.

What about going wit bright colors like green on the wall - will it be too off the track/go completely wrong?

Both modern and cozy? A very very pale orange white. Orange is tres modern and also warm. Make it subtle enough that it seems like an off-white.
