Bathroom Ideas
Store the extra t.p. on a shelf above the door. Great use of wasted space.
Bookshelves in the bathroom! You will never run out of reading material. Actually, this would be a great place to save all of those magazines you never want to throw out.
A twist on writing on the walls of public bathrooms.
Tiled settee in the shower -- not your average bench. :)
Love the wood walls in this bathroom.
How to read in the bathtub ...
Pretty blue, white, and yellow color combination -- plus, the double sink with painted underside seems to be popular.
Japanese ofuro soaking tub, plus sauna
Small but perfect.
Small, functional, nice blue color on the walls, and I like the wood cabinet.
Cool use of stone!
Muted yellow and light sand-colored wood, plus a white countertop.
This tile coordinates but does not match.
Cool accent tile. This is a great idea for a small bathroom.
Fun floor. Note the accent wall reflected in the mirror.
Steam shower - funky seats
Great idea using a vintage dresser to fill the whole end of a bathroom. Turn it into a sink with a vessel sink and modern faucet.
Chandelier in the bathroom -- claaaaassssy.
This shower replaced a tub. It sits on the former tub's footprint.
I like the splash of color from the shower curtain in the all white bathroom.
Small but livable bathroom. I like the beadboard, the shade of blue, and the floor. I think the floor makes the room.
Another colorful shower for a basement bathroom. I like the teak floor too.
This is a basement bathroom. As such, I like it. Color is a decent substitute for windows, assuming you can't have a window.
Here's a great idea to partition off the toilet: cabinetry. I love a solution that does double duty
I like the built-in medicine cabinet WAY better than those cheesy mirrored alcoves that builders shove into the wall.
I like the grotto feel.
Not really fond of this space, but I like the idea of sculptural vases in the shower.
More yellow, blue, and white. Shabby chic bathroom is nice and inviting.
Terra cotta paint and mellow lighting make everyone who enters this powder room look like they just came back from St. Tropez.
This works because of the blue and white porcelain sink.
Awesome indoor jacuzzi!
Cool wall between glass shower and tub.
I like white wainscoting with blue above. This is a nice shade.
Another nice shade of blue with lovely white contrasts.
Nice shade of blue contrasts with dark cabinetry and white marble counters. This is a nice look. Shrink the whole thing down and the bathroom would be perfect.
I like this shade of blue.
Peaceful and serene space
Colored grout!
This brilliant counter is made from maple butcher block that's been stained violet. I would probably choose a different color, but I like the idea of wood counters in a bathroom.
The counter shown here is made from glass that's been painted on the back side. Glass is a great counter material, and the thickness of glass used as a counter gives it a strength that's difficult for other surfaces to match.
Japanese minimalist style
Use tight spacing and a matching grout to create a solid-wall effect. For those who don’t want their walls to scream “tiled!” but still need the durability and water protection that a tiled surface offers, try selecting a tile that allows for tight grout lines, and then match your grout color to the tile color. This makes the tile practically disappear — it becomes more of an interesting texture while still doing its waterproofing job.
