I LOVE this bathroom...and found it specifically because it does NOT seem to have a baseboard on the right side - am I right? Is the tile butting up against dry wall?
I really don't like the look of using cut tile as a baseboard....but don't know what the alternative are for my bathroom.

@designREMODEL Baths, Kitchens & More It's possible to eliminate the baseboard by making sure the wall framing is reasonably straight and that your drywall installer or plasterer is aware that they need to finish all the way to the floor. I would install the tile on Ditra which will allow for movement under the tile. Also, your tile setter will need to make precise cuts against the wall that will allow for a flexible grout joint. Bottom line. Everyone involved will need to take extra steps and time to ensure that the final result is what you want: No base board and clean crisp lines that transition perfectly... A look that will be worth the extra cost.
Liberate the stones. If you’re considering stones, think about leaving them loose. It’s a dynamic way to punch up the organic feel, and you can’t beat the textural effect. If you’re unable to replicate the flooring feature of this bathroom, simply throw loose stones in a chic bowl or clear vase to score the feel.
On the opposite end of the spectrum is a granite bathtub. These can weigh more than 2,000 pounds. With the surface polished on the inside and hand chiseled on the outside, they give a tactile experience unlike any other material.
This view seems to be in a blocked-off area, which would give me some peace of mind. I could see a very relaxing evening in this bathtub.Tell us! If your windows look out onto a stone patio, look for a way to incorporate stone indoors. This example is a deluxe application, but you can achieve the same feel with beautiful pebbles and stones in vignettes along your shelves.
