The Brickman Group, Ltd. Thank you! The edging is made from reclaimed and over-run tumbled concrete retaing wall cap stones with a dimension of 3-1/2" x 16" x 12" which really does a good job in holding both the soil and brick pathways while providing a nice visual line.
The Brickman Group, Ltd. No need to till. The reason I designed the radial walks and narrow beds was to eliminate soil compaction. You can reach in from both sides without any compaction. We will use a hand cultivator to loosen the soil for planting, but that is all. We started with native soil and ammended with aged horse manure, tilled it one time and simply add home made compost as a topdress. The winters freeze and thaw on the soil prepares it nicely for spring planting.
Can i use ths picture? - Hello, i am a french student. thanks to tell me if i can use this picture and which photographer should i mention.

Flowers nestled among the greenery provide sparks of color. They're also a great way to attract beneficial insects, birds and butterflies to the space.
8. Plant a family garden. Gardens are great for families. They're fantastic ways to teach children about where food comes from, and they are good for the earth. Planting and harvesting items you would typically purchase from the grocery store will save you money and fuel. Plus, a garden will give you an opportunity to experiment with composting — an excellent way to cut back your family's contribution to landfills.Raised Beds Lift the GardenMore Family Home:Living Rooms You Can Live InCreative Multi-Use WorkspacesA Kitchen the Entire Clan Will Love
